Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, CG Admiral Artemio M Abu, graced the graduation ceremony of the Coast Guard Non-Officer's Course (CGNOC) Class 91- 2022 "Bugsay-Kalis" at the Coast Guard Base Taguig City yesterday, 17 November 2022.
CG Admiral Abu congratulated the 371 graduates and urged them to become role models to the young generation, especially those who envision joining the humanitarian armed service.
"From the typical, young, carefree, and adventurous students, you have been transformed into the mature, competent, and committed Coast Guardians that you are now, devoid of the civilian antiques," the Coast Guard Commandant expressed.
"As you take your first steps as enlisted personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard, I exhort you to be conscious of your role as Coast Guardians. You are accountable not only to this noble organization but to our country as well," he added.
During the graduation ceremony, CG Admiral Abu also recognized the three top-performing students, namely:
1) CCGNO Gerald Cruz - The Commandant, PCG Award of Distinction
2) CCGNO Ginno Patricio - The Deputy Commandant for Operations, PCG Certificate of Merit
3) CCGNO Mike Gabriel Cacanindin - The Deputy Commandant for Administration, PCG Certificate of Recognition
