The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and other law enforcement agencies interdicted ₱204,000 worth of suspected "shabu" at the vicinity waters off Zamboanga City on 22 December 2022.

Acting upon an intelligence report, the joint team boarded the vessel and found a suspicious package left unattended with approximately 30 grams of suspected "shabu."

A Coast Guard Working Dog (CGWD) assessed the package and yielded a positive result.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 9 took over the said goods to investigate and file appropriate charges.
