Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, CG Admiral Artemio M Abu, joined the Filipino nation in honoring the sacrifices of Dr. Jose Rizal during a ceremony at the Rizal Park in Manila this morning, 30 December 2022.

Gracing the event was President Bongbong Marcos who urged fellow Filipinos to reflect on the greatness, patriotism, and perseverance that Rizal demonstrated.

He also encouraged everyone to contemplate one's life as the nation commemorates the legacy of Rizal's courageous deed of promoting nationalism.
