The Philippine Coast Guard  (PCG) conducted a search and retrieval operations at Pier 13, South Harbor, Manila, today, 08 January 2023.

While providing seaborne security during #Nazareno2023, the PCG's Special Operations Force (SOF) received a call from the PCG Station Manila that Barge HDHP (scheduled for dry docking) became half-submerged at the said vicinity waters.

The PCG team retrieved the lifeless body of Barge HDHP's second engineer, 63-year-old Roger Rosendan, a resident of Romblon.

According to the crew, he failed to float after diving to get other equipment from the half-submerged barge.
