The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Station Northern Palawan conducted a medical evacuation for one ailing crew of a fishing vessel, MORNING GLORY 33 at the vicinity waters off Cadlao Island, El Nido, Palawan, on 04 February 2023.

The ailing crew, identified as 32-year-old Froilan Tejada (a resident of Cuyo, Palawan), was accidentally hit by the mooring line while securing the ship's anchor.

The PCG ferried Mr. Tejada and transferred him to the MDRRMO's standby ambulance that brought him to a medical clinic in El Nido, Palawan for thorough medical attention.
