The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has planted 3,000 mangrove propagules in Barangay San Rafael IV, Noveleta, Cavite today, 25 February 2023.

This marine environmental protection initiative was part of the 55th founding anniversary activities of the PCG District NCR-Central Luzon.

Volunteers from the PCG Auxiliary (PCGA) 103rd Squadron, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources (MENRO) Noveleta, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Rotary Club Las Piñas Central also supported the initiative.
