The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) conducted a medical evacuation (medevac) for one of the crew members of a Liberian-flagged bulk carrier, MV FPMC B 107 yesterday, 25 February 2023.

According to the ship's agent, Mr. Christopher Relampagos, the crew member who suffered from mild stroke was identified as 48-year-old Chinese national, Mr. Jiang Bo (Chief Cook).

The PCG immediately deployed a medevac team that proceeded to the rendezvous area located in the vicinity waters off Legazpi, Albay.

Today, 26 February 2023, the medevac team reached Legazpi Port and transported the patient to the nearest hospital for needed medical attention.
