Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, CG Admiral Artemio M Abu, joins the Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia (ReCAAP) 17th Governing Council Meeting in Singapore.

CG Admiral Abu is the Chairman of the Governing Council.

ReCAAP comprises 14 Asian countries, including (plus) Norway, the Netherlands, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia and the United States.

ReCAAP Information Sharing Centre (ISC) Executive Director, Mr. Krishnaswamy Natarajan, welcomed CG Admiral Abu upon his arrival in Singapore.
