The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has certified 35 emergency readiness evaluators at the Maritime Safety Services Command (MSSC) Headquarters in Sangley Point, Cavite City, on 14 March 2023.

MSSC Deputy Commander, CG Commodore Ramon Lopez, presided over the closing ceremony of the Emergency Readiness Evaluator's (ERE) Course Class 03-2023.

In his speech, CG Commodore Lopez emphasized the critical role of PCG's emergency readiness evaluators in upholding crew competence standards to prevent emergencies on board Philippine-registered vessels.
