The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Intelligence Unit - Bicol assisted in serving a search warrant for violation of the Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 against a high-value individual alias "Lala" at Purok 1, Barangay Concepcion, Virac, Catanduanes, on 20 May 2023.

The joint operatives arrested the subject individual and confiscated five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected as "shabu."

It weighed approximately 20 GRAMS with an estimated market value of ₱136,000.

The Virac Municipal Police Station took over the arrested person for further investigation and confiscated items for proper disposition.
