Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Teodoro Herbosa has pledged to support the construction of the 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐃 (𝐏𝐂𝐆) 𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐋.

This occurred during the 38th Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) National Convention held in Nasugbu, Batangas, from 15 to 17 June 2023.

"I should be able to find ways to provide the health care of the people who actually serve other people. It is all about partnership the same way the PCG Auxiliary partners with the Philippine Coast Guard," DOH Sec. Herbosa said.

During the event, PCG Commandant, CG Admiral Artemio M Abu, approved the promotion of Sec. Herbosa to the rank of "𝐀𝐮𝐱𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐞" in recognition of his valuable support to the PCG and his significant efforts as the COVID-19 Pandemic National Task Force Adviser during the Duterte administration.
