Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, CG Admiral Artemio M Abu, led the oath-taking ceremony of 𝟕𝟗 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐋𝐘 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐒 at the National Headquarters, Port Area, Manila, yesterday, 19 July 2023.

CG Admiral Abu congratulated the 59 male and 20 female Coast Guard draftees for passing the selection process.

He urged them to give their best in performing their duties and responsibilities for their personal growth and career development, which will benefit the entire organization.

"You have been given a chance. You are very lucky to be chosen, but it comes with a corresponding responsibility," CG Admiral Abu said.

The Coast Guard draftees will be deployed to different PCG units while waiting for the upcoming training.
