Yet another proudest moment for the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) as four of its personnel had brought pride to the Philippines during the 19th Asian Games 2023 held in Guangzhou, China.

CG SW2 Elreen Ann Ando got the Bronze medal for the 64kg Weightlifting Division. During the semifinal, CG SN1 Mark Joesph Gonzales and its team had won the Double Bronze Medal for Sepak Takraw against Malaysia.

Also participated during the Asian Games were CG PO1 Jenielou Mosqueda in Kurash, CG PO2 Nesthy Petecio in Boxing, CG PO3 Jackielou Escarpe in Kurash, and CG SW2 Dwylwynn Keith Gimena in Judo.

Through their efforts, the Philippines took home a total of 18 medals including four golds, two silvers, and twelve bronzes.
