The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has commissioned 96 new technical and general line officers at the National Headquarters, Port Area, Manila, today, 16 October 2023.

PCG Commandant, CG Artemio M Abu, presided over their oath-taking ceremony during the Monday morning colors.

“You have to see the things the other people don't see, and you lead them, you encourage them, you enable them, you inspire them, and you must have the direction to share with the team,” CG Admiral Abu said to the newly commissioned PCG officers.

Meanwhile, the Coast Guard Commandant thanked his fellow Coast Guardians who served with him in the past 19 months.

Three days before his retirement, the PCG paid a tribute to CG Admiral Abu in recognition of his dedicated service to the Filipino nation.
