The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) conducted the initial phase of the PCG Transformational Plan through Performance Governance System (PGS) in Makati City today, 30 November 2023.

The PGS is a holistic and collaborative framework that designs, executes, and sustains roadmaps for the transformation of the organization to become the highly capable, effective, and credible guardian of the sea that is respected, and trusted by the maritime community and stakeholders.

The initiative is in line with Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Jaime Bautista’s marching order that calls for a transformational strategy and prioritizing good governance.
