The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Fleet and Japan Coast Guard-Mobile Cooperation Team (JCG-MCT) conducted a comprehensive training on various Coast Guard operations from 20 November to 01 December 2023.

The capacity building initiative focused on towing operation, water cannon operation, emergency steering drills, safety mooring operations, firefighting drills, arresting techniques, bridge resource management, safety navigation, and safety management.

The Coast Guard Fleet said the opportunity allowed the PCG and JCG to build a stronger bond in maintaining the highest level of maritime safety.
