The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and Province of Aurora signed a deed of usufruct for the construction of a new Coast Guard station in the municipality of San Luis on 17 January 2024.

Coast Guard District North Eastern Luzon (CGDNELZN) Commander, CG Captain Ludovico Librilla Jr, and Aurora Governor Christian Noveras formalized the PCG's utilization of a 2,000-square-meter lot located at Barangay Bacung.

CG Captain Librilla Jr said the lot will be used for the construction of a new Coast Guard Station Aurora building, which will also include personnel barracks and equipment storage.

The CGDNELZN District Commander also shared this infrastructure will enhance the efficiency and productivity of Coast Guardians toward better serving the maritime stakeholders and residents of Aurora.
