Sulu Governor Abdusakur Tan has visited BRP Gabriela Silang (OPV-8301) during the DOJ-IACAT mission in the ZamBaSulTa region on 25 January 2024.

The said Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) vessel provided sea transportation to the DOJ-IACAT team to study and strengthen backdoor exits against trafficking in persons (TIP) and smuggling by sea.

Coast Guard District Southwestern Mindanao Commander, CG Commodore Marco Antonio Gines, toured the Sulu Governor on board.
