The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has welcomed 34 new PCG Auxiliary (PCGA) members in Batangas City yesterday, 29 January 2024.

The 502nd Coast Guard Auxiliary Squadron and Coast Guard District Southern Tagalog (CGDSTL) conducted their donning and oath-taking ceremony.

In her speech, Deputy Chief of District Staff for Civil Relations Service, CG Lieutenant Junior Grade Dawn Baterbonia, emphasized the collective responsibility of nation-building, asserting that each member, regardless of rank, plays a vital role in this endeavor.

"Let us remember that our roles as Coast Guard Auxiliary officers/auxiliarists are not merely titles but reflections of the responsibilities we carry. Respect for ranks should be grounded in an understanding of the weight of our duties and a commitment to service," she highlighted.
