The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) collaborate on land utilization and shared resources.

On 31 January 2024, Coast Guard Human Resource Management Commander, CG Commodore Rommel Supangan, welcomed the Head of BuCor's Land Control Management Center, C/SSUPT Melencio Faustino, in Taguig City.

The officials discussed the potential allocation of BuCor land, identified suitable parcels of land, and tackled its acquisition for the PCG.

The CGHRMC said the meeting enhanced cooperation between the PCG and BuCor and strengthened their commitment to establishing open communication and joint efforts toward fulfilling their mandated functions.
