The two classes, composed of 53 technical student officers and 34 student officers, surpassed the five-month training in preparation for their roles as Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) officers.
Gracing the event was PCG Commandant, CG Admiral Ronnie Gil L Gavan, who congratulated the newest set of PCG officers and extended his appreciation for the encouragement of their loved ones.
CG Admiral Gavan reminded the graduates to be guided by the values and lessons they learned during the training.
He urged them to never lost sight of their purpose, stressing that their journey will be measured by the 3Cs of public service – Competence, Capability, and Character.
According to the CGETDC, they will be assigned to different Coast Guard Commands and Units where they augment the implementation of Coast Guard mandates.
