Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Jaime J. Bautista led the donning of ranks and oath-taking ceremony of the three Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commodores who received the next higher rank of Rear Admiral, namely, Mr. Inocencio Rosario Jr., Mr. Allen Dalangin, and Mr. Edgar Ybañez, today, 21 March 2024.

During the event, Secretary Bautista conveyed his felicitations to the newly-promoted CG Admirals, as he underscored the core importance of their new roles.

“We are very happy we have newly-promoted officers, as we really need to strengthen the leadership of PCG. I'm sure the promotion to these three gentlemen will be able to continue and assist all the officers in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities,” Secretary Bautista remarked.

This, following the approval of their promotion by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
