During the Regional Peace and Order Council IX meeting last 21 March 2024, CG COMMO MARCO ANTONIO P GINES signed a partnership agreement with the Provincial Government of Zamboanga Sibugay represented by GOV DULCE ANN HOFER and the REACT (Regional Emergency Assistance Communication Team) represented by MR EMMANUEL SUCGANG for the establishment of the Radio Repeater Project.

Said project aims to enhance Maritime Communication in the said province to help Law Enforcement Agencies and Emergency Responders in delivering their public service, eliminating the Communication Gap at sea and its coastal areas.

On the other hand, CGDSWM is now part of the RPOC as an expanded member through a Resolution passed by the council and signed by no less than the Chairperson of RPOC. This will further bolster the collaboration with other Government agencies to ensure the safety and security of the region.

Present during the meeting are the different Regional Directors and Chiefs of different government agencies.
