The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) will build a sub-station in Asturias, Cebu!

This after the successful signing of the memorandum of agreement ( MOA ) between the Coast Guard District Central Visayas (CGDCV) and the LGU of Asturias yesterday, 29 April 2024.

CGDCV Commander, CG Commodore Christopher Meniado, and Asturias Mayor Dana Andrew Dumdum presided over the ceremony that further strengthened the PCG-LGU partnership.

Coast Guard Station Northern Cebu Commander, CG Lieutenant Commander Jack Ryan Basitao, said the establishment of the Coast Guard Sub-Station Asturias will augment the implementation of maritime safety measures and conduct of other PCG mandates within its coastal barangays.
