The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has delivered 3,500 food packs to Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, yesterday, 22 May 2024.
On board BRP Capones (MRRV-4404) and DA-BFAR MCS 3001, Coast Guardians ferried the supplies from Zamboanga City.
Coast Guard District Southwestern Mindanao and BARMM Commander, CG Commodore Marco Antonio Gines, said the coordinated endeavor between the PCG and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) demonstrated a firm dedication to offering vital aid and services to communities facing hardships.
