The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has celebrated the International Coastal Clean-up Day at Pasay City today, 21 September 2024.

During the activity, approximately 22 sacks of waste materials from nearby residential communities were collected.

The national government called for the participation of every family in practicing solid waste management and garbage reduction for the successful beautification of Manila Bay.

The PCG is one with the Philippine National Police (PNP), Pasay City Environment and Natural Resources Office, Maynilad, the City Government of Manila, and other concerned government agencies in the promotion of cleanliness and sustainable tourism at the heart of Manila.
