The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) headed by PCG Commandant, Admiral Ronnie Gil L Gavan PCG, congratulates the PCG Dragon Boat Team that bagged major awards at the 15th Asian Dragon Boat Championships held in Hong Kong from 09 to 14 October 2024.

They competed against Dragon Boat Teams from Australia, Japan, China, Singapore, India, Thailand, and Iran, among others.

The Philippine team secured the following places:

3rd Runner-up: 500M Mixed Championship DB12

3rd Runner-up: 200M Mixed Championship DB12

4th Runner-up: 100M Mixed Championship DB12

The PCG Dragon Boat Team thanked the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation (PDBF) headed by its President, Atty. Jay Pee Villanueva, and Secretary General, Ms. Marcia Cristobal, for their valuable support.
