The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) in Batangas through its search and retrieval teams, has recovered several casualties resulting from the devastating impact of Typhoon Kristine across Batangas Province.

𝐀. π‚πŽπ€π’π“ 𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐒𝐔𝐁 π’π“π€π“πˆπŽπ 𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄

The Coast Guard Sub-Station Balete team conducted operations resulting in the recovery of two cadavers, a nine-year-old child with disabilities and an infant aged 9 months located in Brgy. Halang, Lipa City.

The remains were transported by the Brgy. Halang service and were brought to Funeral Lacorte in Brgy. San Sebastian Balagbag, Lipa City, for proper disposition.

𝐁. π‚πŽπ€π’π“ 𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐒𝐔𝐁 π’π“π€π“πˆπŽπ π“π€π‹πˆπ’π€π˜

The Coast Guard Sub-Station Talisay team located and recovered eight bodies in Brgy. Sampaloc, Talisay, Batangas which were brought to NDN Resort and subsequently turned over to a funeral service for appropriate handling and disposition.

The Philippine Coast Guard remains steadfast in its commitment to conducting search and retrieval operations with the utmost respect for the victims and in close coordination with local government units and supporting agencies.

The PCG expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and reassures the public that search operations along with partner rescue agencies will continue to ensure no victims remain unaccounted for.
