π‹πŽπŽπŠ: A distinguished chapter in Philippine Coast Guard history comes to a close as Vice Admiral Robert N Patrimonio PCG, officially concluded his active service on 09 May 2025 at the Philippine Marine Corps Grandstand.

The retirement ceremony, presided over by Vice Admiral Edgar YbaΓ±ez PCG, Deputy Commandant for Operations, paid tribute to Vice Admiral Patrimonio’s unwavering dedication and remarkable leadership. Over the course of his career, he led nearly all of the major Functional Commands of the Philippine Coast Guard, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and integrity.

Being the longest serving Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Staff for Comptrollership, CG-6 under 3 Commandants and 2 Officer-In-Charge, the biggest increase in the budget of PCG was achieved, an increase of 87% in 2013 and 114% in 2018.

In recognition of his service, Vice Admiral Patrimonio was presented with a plaque of honorable service, a medal frame, the Philippine flag, his personal flag, and a retirement cheque β€” symbolic tokens of the nation’s deep gratitude and respect.

His wife, Mrs. Phee Margaret Anne L. Patrimonio, was also honored with a plaque of recognition for her steadfast support throughout her husband’s career, reflecting the vital role of family in the lives of those who serve.

Prior to his retirement, Vice Admiral Patrimonio held the position as the Commander of the Maritime Security Law Enforcement Command (MARSLEC), where he played a key role in safeguarding the nation’s maritime domain. During his tenure MARSLEC achieved both operational expansion after deploying personnel in all 16 Coast Guard Districts and administrative excellence as the Command was awarded ISO certification by the International Organization for Standardization.

During the ceremony, Vice Admiral Patrimonio PCG relinquished his post to Rear Admiral Inocencio C Rosario Jr PCG, as the 11th Commander of the Command.
