The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and United States Coast Guard (USCG) wrapped up the 6th Bilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity (MCA) on 20 May 2025, following a five-day port visit of USCGC Stratton (WMSL-752) to Puerto Princesa City.

The Stratton was welcomed with arrival honors by the Coast Guard District Palawan on 16 May, 2025 marking another milestone in the strong and growing alliance between the Philippines and the United States.

Throughout the visit, both maritime forces conducted a series of coordinated drills and cooperative activities, strengthening interoperability, building trust, and reaffirming their shared commitment to maritime security and a rules-based international order in the Indo-Pacific region. From sea operations to shipboard exchanges, this engagement highlights how close coordination and mutual respect are key to safeguarding our waters and promoting regional stability.

The exercise was carried out with a focus on transparency, professionalism, and humanitarian principles. It aimed to enhance operational readiness, save lives, and uphold shared maritime duties, reflecting the commitment to serve the Filipino people with respect for the rule of law, discipline, and the sanctity of human life.
