In line with the President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr. anti-illegal drug campaign, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Bureau of Customs (BOC), and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized 749,632,000 pesos worth of illegal drugs at the Manila International Container Port (MICP), yesterday, 07 July 2025.

The joint operating teams conducted 100% physical examination of the cargo consigned to XYZ Global Express at the MICP ICTSI warehouse.

They discovered crystallized rock-like substances suspected as methamphetamine hydrochloride also known as “shabu.”

Upon further examination, the joint authorities confirmed the presence of "shabu" mixed with milk powder.

During inventory, PDEA representatives recorded 106 packs of illegal drugs, with a total weight of 110,240 grams.
