The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) held a holy mass and blessing for its technical divers ahead of the continuation of diving operations at Taal Lake today, 13 July 2025.

The mass was held to strengthen the spiritual readiness and protection of personnel undertaking complex underwater search and retrieval missions. The PCG emphasizes the importance of holistic preparedness, encompassing physical, mental, and spiritual aspects─especially for personnel assigned to complex operations.

Following the mass, the PCG technical divers resumed their underwater operations, demonstrating their commitment to both the mission and their personal and collective safety.
