𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), through the Coast Guard District National Capital Region – Central Luzon (CGDNCR-CL) and Coast Guard Station Bataan, proudly announces the successful launching of the Intensified Community Assistance, Awareness, Response, and Engagement (ICARE) Campaign Plan 2025 held in Barangay Bangkal, Abucay, Bataan on 14 July 2025.

This significant milestone underscores the unwavering commitment of the Philippine Coast Guard in delivering public service, strengthening community engagement, and ensuring the welfare and resilience of coastal and indigenous communities. The activity was spearheaded under the leadership of COMMO CHRISTOPHER M MENIADO PCG, Commander of CGDNCR-CL, and CDR MICHAEL JOHN P ENCINA PCG, Station Commander of CGS Bataan, with the active participation of PCG personnel and stakeholders.

The event featured various community-focused initiatives aimed at addressing basic health and welfare needs of the residents, including medical and dental outreach services, a community feeding program, and the distribution of essential relief goods. These efforts were made possible through the collaborative support of partner organizations and volunteers who remain steadfast in advancing humanitarian assistance at the grassroots level.

The Coast Guard likewise extends its sincere gratitude to the Drug Store Association of the Philippines – Bataan Chapter for their generous donation of essential medical supplies, which greatly contributed to the success of the activity. The presence and assistance of the officers and volunteers from the 106th and 109th Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) Squadrons were also instrumental in ensuring the organized and smooth implementation of the campaign.

This launching marks the beginning of sustained and intensified Coast Guard presence and community support in the area. It also reaffirms the agency’s dedication to inclusive service, maritime safety, and proactive humanitarian engagement, all in line with the mission to serve and uplift the lives of Filipinos—leaving no one behind.
