GOOD NEWS: The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for the Coast Guard Base Taguig (CGBT) Headquarters Multipurpose Building at the Coast Guard Base Taguig today, July 15, 2025.
This landmark project spearheaded by CGBT Commander, Captain Victorino Ronaldo Acosta IV PCG aligns with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for PCG to achieve significant projects that would bring organizational advancement.
The PCG Deputy Commandant for Operations, Vice Admiral Edgar Ybañez PCG, grace said undertaking as guest of honor and keynote speaker.
During his message, Vice Admiral Ybañez PCG expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation towards the development partners and thank the representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for their essential support.
“The CGBT building will be more than steel and stone. It will be a space that serves a hub for collaboration. A home for future operations that will protect, uplift, and serve our people and more than anything, it is a symbol of progress, resilience, and foresight,” he furthered.
