In amplifying the objective of President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr., the Coast Guard Station Sultan Kudarat assisted a stranded family at Purok Lanzones, Barangay Barurao 2, Lebak, Sultan Kudarat at around 2:00 AM this morning, July 17, 2025.

Five individuals — including one adult, three children, and an infant — were safely rescued and transferred to a relative's residence in a higher area.

The family was stranded due to the rapidly rising water level caused by continuous heavy rainfall.

CGS Sultan Kudarat continues to monitor flood-prone areas within their area of responsibility and advises residents to evacuate immediately when necessary.
