The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) conducted a Search and Rescue (SAR) operations to a capsized fishing banca (FBCA) at the vicinity waters of Pasandigan Cove, El Nido, Palawan on July 19, 2025.

The PCG's commitment to rendering service to the Filipino people underscores President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr.’s pursuit of a “Bagong Pilipinas."

At approximately 4:50PM, a concerned individual reported to the Coast Guard Station (CGS) Palawan that there was a distressed FBCA with three passengers onboard.

At around 5:00PM, the CGS Northern Palawan dispatched their Quick Response Team (QRT) onboard MB Excalibur 0109 to conduct SAR operations.

All three individuals were rescued, underscoring the readiness, and operational efficiency of CGS Northern Palawan in responding to maritime emergencies.
