The Coast Guard Station (CGS) La Union conducted a rescue operation at Barangay Carlatan, San Fernando City, La Union, following heavy flooding brought by Severe Tropical Storm #EmongPH today, July 25, 2025.

The said initiative was carried out in close coordination with the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC).

“This operation underscores the Philippine Coast Guard's unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and upholding its humanitarian mandate during times of calamity. Amidst the fury of #EmongPH, the PCG stands resilient—ready to serve, protect, and respond,” the CGS La Union expressed.
