Personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Sub-stations in Sta. Cruz and Infanta conducted joint seaborne patrol for the apprehension of the motorboat used in illegal fishing at the vicinity waters between Sta. Cruz in Zambales and Infanta, Pangasinan on 05 February 2020.

The two fishermen onboard were identified as 37-year old Ryan Abille and 24-year old Joshua Moria --- residents of Brgy. Lipay, Sta. Cruz, Zambales.

Abile and Moria violated the Zambales Provincial Ordinance Number 2006-02 which bans the use of air compressor on fishing ventures.

After the towing of involved motorbanca at the shoreline of Brgy Lipay, the fishermen were turned over to the Philippine National Police - Sta. Cruz for the filing appropriate charges.
