Personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) have rescued six (6) crew members onboard a half-submerged motorbanca along the vicinity waters off Barangay Suclaran, San Lorenzo, Guimaras on 20 February 2020.

Bobby Garganera, Master of motorbanca ‘Inday Terry 3’, shared that while transiting said vicinity waters going to Rizal Dry Dock Area at Barangay Rizal, Buenavista, Guimaras, the boat encountered strong winds, causing it to half-submerge.

The rescued individuals were in good physical condition when they arrived at the nearest shoreline.

‘Inday Terry 3’ was towed at Barangay Cabano, San Lorenzo, Guimaras for safekeeping until further guidance.
