Personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Sub-Station in Sipalay have retrieved a floating cadaver along the vicinity waters off Barangay 2, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental yesterday, 11 March 2020.

The cadaver, that was approximately 5’2’’ in height and 60 years old, was wearing red shorts, red t-shirt, and a green jacket when retrieved from the waters.

Investigation revealed that the victim was mentally impaired and was frequently seen in a nearby bus terminal all by himself before his sudden demise.

The PCG Team turned-over the cadaver to the Sipalay Emergency and Rescue Services (SEARS) that brought it to the Sipalay infirmary for proper disposition.
