The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Station in Capiz rescued 15 fishermen aboard distressed motorbanca along the vicinity waters off Culasi Port, Roxas City, Capiz on 21 March 2020.

According to the crew, F/V EDSA-107 encountered engine trouble due to ingress of water coming from its stuffing box, which eventually caused electrical shortage and main engine shutdown.

The rescued individuals, who were all in good physical condition, were brought to Libas Fish Port for further investigation.

F/V EDSA-107 was safely towed at the shoreline of Libas Fish Port for safekeeping.
