Did you know that over 6,500 commissioned officers and enlisted personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) are WOMEN?
And, last 28 November 2020, a total of 48 ALL-FEMALE aspiring Coast Guard personnel had their oath-taking and convening ceremonies at the PCG regional training center in San Fernando, La Union, which was led by PCG Commandant, Admiral George V Ursabia Jr.
In the course of the training, they will be taught and inculcated with core values, as well as the main duties and responsibilities of being a Coast Guard personnelβ devoting their lives wholly to service, even if it may entail ultimate sacrifices.
The aspirants will undergo series of bootcamp sessions to help them appreciate and embody the traits of genuine Coast Guardians β PATRIOTIC, COMPASSIONATE, and GOD-FEARING.
