The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has convened the Coast Guard Non-Officer's Course (CGNOC) Class 82 – 2020, composed of 308 all-male trainees, at the PCG Regional Training Center in Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental on 04 December 2020.

During the course of the training, they will undergo several months of bootcamp on military drills, basic soldiery, as well as Coast Guard customs and traditions.

The will also undertake functional training on maritime security, maritime law enforcement, maritime safety, maritime search and rescue, and marine environmental protection to ensure that they will become genuine Coast Guardians — (P)atriotic, (C)ompassionate, and (G)od-fearing public servants.
