Medical personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) District Palawan participated in a COMMUNITY-WIDE MEDICAL MISSION AND RELIEF OPERATIONS to offer free general check-up, dental and eye consultations, as well as circumcision services to more than 400 residents of Barangay Sibaltan, El Nido, Palawan on 06 December 2020.

After receiving medical assistance, the Sibaltans were also provided with medicines, multivitamins, family hygiene supplies, school materials, and hot meals.

Said initiatives were made successful with the active participation of the Department of Health, United States Embassy Civil Military Support Elements, PCG Auxiliary, Palawan Medical Society, Palawan Medical Mission Group Multi-purpose Cooperative Hospital Nurses, Philippine Pharmacist Association, Drug Stores Association of the Philippines, and the local government unit of El Nido, Palawan.

PCG personnel also ensured health and safety protocols were strictly observed during the activities.
