PCG: The Philippine Coast Guard operatives is still on search for the pilots who went missing after their aircraft crashed at vicinity waters of Bataan last Tuesday, February 05.
Initial information revealed by a certain Mr Bong Menezes that a single type engine aircraft with tail number RPC-2724-152 operated by Flight Line Aviation School was piloted by the instructor pilot Captain Navern Nagaraja together with his student Kuldeep Singh, both Indian Nationals. Said aircraft departed Subic to Plaridel, Bulacan but did not arrive at its expected time.
Upon receipt of the information, PCG dispatched MRRV-4401 (BRP Tubbataha) at vicinity waters 10.16 nautical miles east of Orion, Bataan and FPB-2401 (BRP Boracay) at vicinity waters of Samal Island, Bataan to conduct search and rescue (SAR) operations.
As of press time, SAR operations are still ongoing.
Notice to Mariners has also been issued to alert all vessels in the area to be on the lookout for the said missing plane and pilots.
