The Non-Officer Basic Education and Training Center (NOBETC) held a one day gathering for Coast Guard personnel dubbed as Barrio Fiesta in Lower Bicutan, Taguig City last Saturday, February 02.

They also organized booths which exhibits the local products, traditional costumes and cultures of the different places in the Philippines. The PCG Commandant, Admiral Elson E Hermogino was present in this first barrio fiesta experience.

As part of the Barrio Fiesta 2019, a battle of the band was organized. The Coast Guard Education and Training Command band won the first prize, the Headquarters Support Group got the second prize, and NOBETC gained the third prize.

The night was made more enjoyable as the popular band Silent Sanctuary entertained them with their heart melting music.
