PCG: Joint personnel of Coast Guard Station (CGS) Camarines Sur and Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Camaligan recovered a body of a boy off Bicol River, Sitio Dahig, Barangay Malbog, Gainza, Camarines Sur last April 06.

CGSS Camaligan received a phone call from a certain Mr. Cadresmo Camaligan that a drowning incident has transpired at the said vicinity.

Immediately, personnel of CGS Camarines Sur conducted Search and Rescue (SAR) operations. The SAR team successfully recovered the body. The body was positively identified by Mr. Eric San Lorenzo as his son Nico San Lorenzo, 6 years old.

According to Mr. San Lorenzo, his son, together with his two cousins, went playing at the unfinished bridge. Unfortunately, his son was brought by the current which resulted to the incident.
