MANILA, Philippines (28 May 2019) – The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) won the first place awards in the on-the-spot painting contest entitled “Kulay ng Pagsisilbi” sponsored by Public Safety Mutual Benefit Fund Inc. (PSMBFI). The awarding was held during the Annual PSMBFI General Membership Meeting and Elections last 25 May.

Seaman First Class Abril Alejandro S Nellas, representative of the PCG, received the cash prize and a plaque of excellence during the said awarding. The contest was participated by PSMBFI's partner agencies, the Philippine National Police (PNP), PNP-Non-Uniformed Personnel, PNP Academy, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Public Safety College, National Police Commission, Office of the Transport Security, Bureau of Investigation, Department of Environment and National Resources, Land Transportation Office, Metro Manila Development Authority, National Mapping and Resource Information Authority, Bureau of Corrections and PCG on 30 April.

The PSMBFI is a duly registered non-stock, non-profit mutual benefit fund association, organized to provide insurance protection, and financial and material aid to its members.
