MANILA, Philippines (20 June 2019) - Admiral Elson E Hermogino, Commandant of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) together with Vice Admiral Rolando D Legaspi, PCG Deputy Commandant for Operations and representative to the Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit, Savings & Loan Association Incorporated (AFPMBAI)  Board led the hand-over ceremony of additional vehicular assets at the National Headquarters in Manila yesterday morning.

A coaster bus, multi-purpose van and three electric carts were formally donated by the AFPMBAI to PCG as presented by Brigadier General Marcial Constante, Head of the AFPMBAI Admin Division with the formal signing of deed of donation and subsequently, the blessing of the said vehicles.

Admiral Hermogino has expressed his appreciation of the continuous support of the AFPMBAI likewise emphasized the key role of PCG personnel in availing the AFPMBAI services for the grant of these donations.

The new vehicles will be used to transport PCG personnel to nearby satellite offices, operational deployments and ferry foreign delegates during formal visits to the Command.
