BICOL, Philippines. (28 October 2019) – Elements of Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Camaligan are still searching for a drowned person at vicinity waters of Bicol River at Barangay Sua, Camaligan, Camarines Sur yesterday, 27 October.

The incident was reported by Mr. Paul Agna to CGSS Camaligan informing the said drowning incident in abovementioned area.

The victim was identified as Mr Robin Capestrano Sr., who went on swimming venture at the river side near at his residence. The victim was swept by a strong water current and was reportedly drowned after the incident.

The personnel of CGSS Camaligan rescue team immediately conducted search and rescue (SAR) operations but yielded with negative report.

SAR team has already coordinated with the barangay officials and nearby residents and advised them to be on lookout and report to the nearest PCG unit if victim is sighted.
